Abstract

Karakalpak national dance is a rich and vibrant artistic tradition that reflects the cultural heritage of the Karakalpak people of Central Asia. As interest in preserving and showcasing this dance form grows, it is essential to establish a robust methodological framework for its staging and presentation. This article examines the key considerations and best practices for the effective staging of Karakalpak national dance, drawing on insights from dance ethnography, choreography, and performance studies. The study explores the importance of preserving the authenticity and cultural integrity of the dance form, while also adapting it for contemporary performance contexts. Factors such as dancer training, choreographic approaches, musical accompaniment, and stage design are analyzed in detail, providing a comprehensive guide for scholars, dance companies, and cultural institutions interested in the development and dissemination of Karakalpak national dance.
